Eileendover set for Pontefract

Eileendover is more likely to bid for Listed honours at Pontefract following a strong first effort on the Flat at Haydock.

Coach Pam Sly has pencilled within the Sky Wager Pontefract Citadel Fillies’ Stakes on the West Yorkshire monitor on June 20 for her four-year-old.

Eileendover, who gained her first three bumpers earlier than ending fourth in a Grade Two occasion at Aintree’s Grand Nationwide assembly in April, misplaced little in defeat when runner-up to the Ralph Beckett-trained Yesyes, who was receiving lumps of weight.

“She’s good. I used to be very happy together with her. She was giving 17lb to the winner, so I believed she ran extraordinarily nicely. The winner Yesyes, Ralph Beckett’s horse, could be very well-bred.

“We’re in all probability going to go for a Listed race for fillies at Pontefract over a mile and a half on the twentieth of June.
